Genealogy: Finding Immigration Records Online
Explore how to find immigration records- naturalization records and ships' manifests- in online databases. Examples include Ancestry.com, Ellis Island and Castle Garden (New York) and Steve Morse's special search forms for efficient searches of ships' records, which cover New York and many other United States ports of arrival.
This class is taught by Mary Wickersham. She is accredited by the Association of Professional Genealogists, and a member of the Minnesota Genealogical Society, the Minnesota Historical Society, and the Irish Genealogical Society International.
